NATIONAL PET DAY CELEBRATION

‘Pets are humanizing .They remind us that we have responsibility to preserve, nurture and care for all life.’
To emphasize the importance of animals in our lives, Delhi World Public School, Panipat organized a Pet Day celebration. The main objective of organizing Pet Day was to sensitize children about animals, how they help us and also to bring awareness about love and compassion for our fellow living beings. Students of I to Class were excited and curious to know more about these special companions. Students introduced their pets to their class mates. They shared their experience about taking care of different kinds of pets, the food habits and the care they need. It was truly wonderful and knowledgeable experience for the young ones. This activity inculcated the importance of caring for animals. Children who did not have pets had curious questions to ask; they clarified their doubts with their classmates and enjoyed learning about animals.
